The tour will take you through high Andean landscapes of the Vilcanota Mountain Range. and you will only have to take a light 45-minute walk to the Vinicunca mountain viewpoint, where you will appreciate its majestic setting, surrounded by snow-capped peaks and mountains of different colors. CUSCO – JAPURA – QOSQOPATA – RAINBOW MOUNTAIN
We start the tour to the Rainbow Mountain in ATVs very early (4.00 am), for which our minivan will pick you up at your hotel, to go for approximately 2 hours through the eastern part of Cusco until we reach a small town of Cusipata where we will have breakfast. After breakfast we will continue with the tour for another 1 hour along a narrow road until we reach the town of Japura where the ATVs are located, in this place our staff will teach you how to use the ATVs to start the ATV tour along a path specially designed so that you can enjoy beautiful views of the mountains, snow-capped peaks, lakes and high Andean fauna, after a 45-minute ride on ATV’s. We will arrive at the place called Qosqopata where we will leave the ATVs for a light 45-minute walk until we reach the Mountain of 7 Colors. Upon reaching the top of the mountain we will have enough time to take videos and photographs of the Vinicunca mountain and everything that surrounds it, then we will return. by the same way that we came and in the afternoon we will have lunch and then we will continue with the way back to Cusco and we will arrive at approximately 5:00 pm.
After enjoying the mountain of colors we will return to the town of Phulawasipata, where we will board the minivan, and then take us back to Cusipata, where we will taste an exquisite buffet lunch.
After an exciting day, in the afternoon, we left for the Inca city of Cusco. We will arrive in Cusco (approximately at 4:00 pm), our team will take you to your comfortable hotel.
