It is definitely one of the places to visit in Peru. The walk to the top is short because despite the altitude it is bearable.

Truly wonderful, a magnificent experience full of emotions, great challenge for those who like to climb mountains, 5,200 meters above sea level is exhausting but the beauty of the place is worth the sacrifice 😉
Very hard to climb since it's 5000m altitude and you feel lack of oxygen. Everyone is moving so slowly on the way up, feels like a slow motion video. Make sure you're well acclimated. Eat coca candy

Beautiful and tough place, the altitude makes a short hike very tiring, but the views, the experience and the whole place are worth it.You need to be in good shape so as not to feel exhausted, preferably you should leave very early, so as not to have to wait in long lines to take a photo.
